HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

So you are interested in working a winter season in Japan, but aren’t sure how much it will cost? At IEP we are upfront with all program costs as well as costs that are associated with your working holiday. You will find we offer the lowest program fees on the market – don’t pay more!

One of the best things about Work Japan Winter Jobs is that you secure a job before you have to book flights or purchase insurance, which takes away the risk. Remember that if you aren’t offered a job you will get a full program refund!

It’s also important to understand that not all of the costs below are paid at once. You can review our ‘How to Apply’ information that outlines when certain fees are paid.

Program Fee:

Initial Deposit Fee: $295
Final Payment: $700 – paid within 8 weeks of your initial deposit. If you need a payment plan – just ask us! Want to pay in full – no worries. We are here to help you make the move to Japan!

*The total program fee is $995, but to get the ball rolling you only need to make an initial payment of $295!

Japan Visa Fee

The working holiday visa is FREE for Japan! We provide all the support and guidance to eliminate the chance of your visa being rejected or making an error on your application.

Insurance

As part of the terms and conditions of Work Japan Winter Jobs, participants are required to have travel insurance purchased for the duration of their employment contract. This is a condition of the employment agreement IEP has with employers to ensure participants have comprehensive insurance with a highly reputable insurer. It is also a visa requirement that you register for the National Health Insurance Scheme for the duration of your stay. This will cost approximately 1500JPY per month and will cover up to 70% of any basic/simple medical treatment costs you receive.

Proof of Funds

Provide proof of sufficient funds to support initial stay in Japan – at least AU$3,000

Be travelling on a return/onward passage ticket, or have additional proof of funds to show you can purchase such a ticket (further AU$1,000)
