Panorama Mountain Resort is an all-season destination experience situated in British Columbia’s Purcell Mountains. Home to Canada’s largest slope-side hot pools and with a huge range of activities including golfing at Greywolf Golf Course, cross-country and downhill mountain biking, tennis, rafting and lift access hiking, Panorama is a popular spot amongst both locals and visitors to Canada. In the winter months Panorama offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, ski lodging, dining, and so much more. Accommodation
Panorama has some of the best staff housing in Canada and can house almost half of their seasonal staff! There are three types of accommodation:
Monument Lodge and Paradise Lodge: Each building has a maximum capacity of 48 tenants. The top floor of each building can house 8 people in 4 shared bedrooms (2 people per room) while the rest of the units have 4 private bedrooms each. There is 1 kitchen for every 4 employees. Each dorm is equipped with high-speed Internet access, locker/waxing room, laundry facilities and a common area on the main floor for staff to gather with a big screen television. On the staff accommodation grounds there is also a sports field and fire pit for the staffs use and enjoyment.
Horsethief Studios: The studios are for two people and are primarily for couples. Studios are open concept and they have a kitchen, bathroom, and living area adjacent to the sleeping area, and small patio area. These studios are located in the heart of the village with hot tubs, the General Store, and pubs within walking distance. Also located in the Horsetheif area are two condos which can house 4 people and 7 people respectively in shared bedrooms. These units have full kitchens, living rooms, two bathrooms, and like the studios are located just moments away from desirable amenities.
Invermere Homes (In town): These are private rental units which are given to Panorama Mountain Resort to property manage for the winter or summer season. They are still part of the Employee Residence program and follow all the same rules as our other properties. The properties vary anywhere from basement studio suites to 10 bedroom houses. Invermere is located 18 kms from Panorama Mountain Resort on a beautiful lake called Lake Windermere. For more information on Invermere, please visit www.invermere.com
If you don’t receive staff accommodation, don’t sweat it! There is a lot of reasonably-priced private accommodation to be found in Invermere, 20 minutes from the resort.
