Why should someone interview/work with The Broadmoor?
To have one of the best experiences of their lives. To learn from the best in the Hospitality and Resort industry. To discover new skills. To make life-long friendships. To achieve? there are many reasons!
Would The Broadmoor be happy with placing partners or friends wanting to apply to work together (i.e. in the same department and in separate departments)?
We are looking at who is the best fit for the position. If one person is a great server but the friend will thrive as a front desk agent, we would recommend taking on different jobs. We are not opposed to friends working together but each person’s set of skills will determine that.
What kind of jobs are on offer at the Broadmoor?
Front desk agent, reservations agent, server, busser, bell attendants, host/hostess, restaurant attendant, housekeeper, security officer, bartender, spa concierge, tennis shop associate, cook, and many more!
Are there any outdoor/rec activities at The Broadmoor?
Our Player services attendant at the Golf Club, and our Pool attendant positions may be suitable for those studying Water and Outdoor Recreation.
Do you have any roles in Events?
The department that handles events at The Broadmoor is our Conference Services department and they are looking for long term placements in these positions given the training period and knowledge base of the Hotel needed in these areas. So unfortunately, there are not any opportunities for placement in Conference Services. The position that would be in the middle of events from a food & beverage side would be the Banquet Server. In this role you would see a lot of events in action but not be on the planning side. Banquet Servers help serve all the food & beverage at our events, weddings and meetings.
How much work experience do I need to get a job at the Broadmoor?
It depends on the position. For cooks, bartenders, and tennis assistants some experience is preferred. We have a great training program in place that will teach basic skills and progress to more advanced skills.
Are there any perks of working at the Broadmoor?

Many international employees choose to walk. Others take a bus or groups of friends may take a taxi. Many employees are willing to help! You can purchase a bike, a scooter, or a car.
How do I go about finding housing after the initial four weeks at the staff housing?
Our International Recruitment Manager will share a list of nearby apartments once we send your offer letter out. There are over 15 companies listed, their contact information and price. If you want to arrange for this prior to arrival, there might not be a need to stay in the staff housing at all.
Otherwise you can start looking into housing soon after you arrive (and not wait until your time in the staff housing expires). You will need to decide if you want to live with others (most live with roommates), thereby sharing the cost of an apartment.

The costs will range depending on the size of the apartment and whether it is furnished or not. The monthly cost would range from US$650 – US$1,000 total per month for a 2/3 bedroom apartment. Thus, if 3 or 4 people shared an apartment ? the monthly cost for each person is very reasonable.

Some may be furnished but most will likely be unfurnished. During orientation, you’ll find out where to purchase affordable furniture and appliances.
What do I do when I first arrive?
Come to the hotel to pick up your apartment key. We ask that you arrive on Friday prior to orientation Monday so you have a few days to acclimate and explore the area.
