HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

So you are interested in a working holiday in Japan, but aren’t sure how much it will cost? At IEP we are upfront with all program costs as well as costs that are associated with your working holiday. You will find we offer the lowest program fees on the market – so don’t pay more!

It’s also important to understand that not all of the costs below are paid at once. You can review our ‘How to Apply’ information that outlines when certain fees are paid.

Program Fee:

Work Japan Visa Kickstart fee $295.

Japan Visa Fee

The working holiday visa is FREE for Japan! We provide all the support and guidance to eliminate the chance of your visa being rejected or making an error on your application.

Insurance

Upon arrival in Japan it is required that you register for the National Health Insurance scheme which will cost approximately 1500JPY per month. This will cover up to 70% of the cost for basic/simple medical treatment during the stay. It is recommended that you purchase an additional travel insurance policy to cover the remaining medical treatment cost, any medical costs that are not considered basic/simple, and other risks involved with traveling abroad such as theft or repatriation.

Proof of Funds

Provide proof of sufficient funds to support initial stay in Japan – at least AU$2,500

Be travelling on a return/onward passage ticket, or have additional proof of funds to show you can purchase such a ticket (further AU$1,000)
