You choose the visa and we will help you get it!

To participate in the Work Britain Pub Jobs program you must legally be able to work in the UK and have the experience & personality the UK pubs are looking for.

Youth Mobility Visa

This visa allows you to work in the UK for up to two years. IEP will help you obtain this visa and to be eligible you must fulfil the following criteria:

• Hold a Australian passport
• Be aged between 19 and 30 (your visa application must be received by the British High Commission before your 31st birthday)
• Show proof of having at least £1800 in your bank account on the date you complete your visa application

Or

UK Ancestry Visa

This visa allows you to work in the UK for up to five years. IEP will help you obtain this visa and to be eligible you must fulfil the following criteria:

• Hold a Australian passport
• Provide proof (original birth certificates) that you have a grandparent born in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man or they were born before 31 March 2021 in what is now the Republic of Ireland.
• Must provide documents proving that you are able to support yourself without access to public funds until you are able to find employment. (We recommend having at least $4000 in your bank account on the date you complete your visa application)

* IEP cannot assist in obtaining an Ancestry Dependent Visa

Or

British or European Union Passport:

If you hold or are eligible to obtain a British or European Union passport you are still eligible for our Work Britain program.

Our pub employers definitely want someone with an outgoing personality. If you can tick all of these boxes we want to hear from you.

Work Experience

To work at any of our pubs they will want you to have some relevant work experience. If you have experience in any of these fields you should be good to go.

• Customer service
• Retail sales
• Cashier
• Fast food
• Food service
• Hostessing/bussing
• Bar tending
• Kitchen experience
• Qualified chef

Age

To be eligible for this program you must be between the ages of 19-30yrs old. We will consider 18yr olds only if they have plenty of relevant work experience.
